We provide personalized service and care for both our canine clients and their owners. We walk a maximum of three dogs at one time and our playgroups are small allowing us to give more attention to your dog's individual needs and to reinforce basic obedience commands.Same Walker Every Day
You will meet owner Corbin Kohn and your potential dog walker or playgroup supervisor during the initial interview. A back-up caregiver will be provided in the event of illness or emergency. Our goal is to build a strong long-term relationship with your dog using a calm assertive disposition, exercise and affection.Fully Bonded & Insured
Newton Dog Walking is insured and bonded to protect the health of your dog and the security of your personal property. Our walkers and playgroup supervisors are background checked and are trained extensively. We are happy to provide references upon request.

The Newton Dog Walk
Your dog is taken for refreshing walk in its own neighborhood or brought to a local dog-friendly park. Walks are done individually or in a small group of up to 3 dogs. This allows us to lavish personal attention on your dog and reinforce basic obedience commands. The rate is for a single dog and includes checking water, feeding (if necessary), pick-up & drop-off and leaving a personal note after each visit.
$23 (30 minutes) / $35 (60 minutes)
The Adventure Walk
Your dog is brought to an area state park or conservation land for a guided off-leash run with other athletic dogs. Your dog will explore open fields, streams and wooded areas while actively socializing and receiving excellent exercise. Before attending, dogs must participate in at least one playgroup session to assess social skills and demonstrate the ability to respond to commands. A daily adventure walk will give your dog exactly what it needs: wholesome exercise, active exploration, and membership in a very special pack.
$35 (approximately 2 hours)
Our most popular service. Your dog is picked-up at your home and brought to a large, fenced-in yard and allowed to play with other dogs his or her own size and temperament.
Daily Playgroup
Dogs are encouraged to run, romp, chase balls, play fetch and interact with each other. A staff member trained to facilitate safe and effective socialization constantly supervises each playgroup to ensure that play doesn't get too rough and to reinforce basic obedience commands. You will be amazed at how calm and relaxed your dog will be after each session. Although ideal for puppies and young dogs, a daily playgroup is also well suited for an adult dog that needs more exercise and mental stimulation than a walk can provide. Playgroup is an excellent way for your dog to receive healthy outdoor exercise while also building and strengthening the important social skills that will guide them for a lifetime.

We offer several services for our clients when their owners are away for a single night, a weekend or longer. Please call or email us so we can work together to customize a care plan for you and your dog.
Dog Sitting
Your dog stays home where it is most comfortable and is visited multiple times throughout the day. A typical visit begins with a quick bathroom break followed by a meal then a healthy walk through your neighborhood. Most dogs require 3-4 visits over a 24 hour period.
$23 (30 minutes) *Before 9am, after 5pm, or Weekends & Holidays the rate is $35 for 30 minutes.
Overnight Stay in your home
For dogs that require more attention, one of our walkers will stay overnight with your dog in your home. Your dog will be walked and fed on the same schedule that he or she is accustomed to and can relax in familiar surroundings. The walker can also care for other pets that you have too.

Dog Boarding
This service is for well-socialized dogs that attend at least one playgroup or walk with us each week. Your dog is brought to the home of one of our walkers and is treated like a member of their family. Pick-up and drop-off service is included.

About Newton Dog
Corbin Kohn founded Newton Dog Walking Service in Autumn 2002. A native of Massachusetts, Corbin spent the previous 15 years living and working in Boston. After graduating from Boston University, Corbin spent 8 years as a financial consultant with various Wall Street firms then 3 years as a project manager for two Internet-based technology companies.
Shortly after bringing home Daisy, an adorable and energetic chocolate Labrador retriever puppy, Corbin realized he really enjoyed her daily exercise in the form of long walks, soccer, swimming, socialization with other dogs, and of course, playing fetch. A neighbor saw what fun they were having and asked Corbin to look after her own puppy while she worked. Other neighbors were so inspired by the interaction between Corbin and Daisy that they brought home their own puppy to join the fun. Being a entrepreneur at heart, Corbin realized he could-and should-provide this service to other dogs in Newton. Thus, Newton Dog Walking was born. Newton Dog Walking was founded to provide high-quality, personalized care for dogs and puppies. We build deep-rooted personal relationships with your dog through daily exercise, personal interaction, and affection.
